DaraLuz in spanish means “To Give to Light” a
phrase used in Starhawk's "The Fifth Sacred Thing".
DaraLuz is a 3rd degree Gardnerian Wiccan priestess and is one of three co-founders of Tempest
Haven, a Church of All Worlds group in
Catawba County, NC. DaraLuz is
owner of Ravenwood Art and holds an AS in Graphic Arts &
Imaging Technology. As a self taught artist
with some college courses in art she aspires to "Give to
the Light" the dreams, visions and experiences of her
earth centric beliefs. Daraluz works
in traditional Acrylic on Canvas or board.
Original paintings are digitally scanned and reproduced as
fine art archival prints. Adobe
Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Painter are her choices of software
programs used in conjunction with a 12"x9" Wacom Graphic
Tablet. Fine Art archival prints are printed in house on
an Epson 2200 inkjet printer.
